Northwest Arkansas Gridiron Show–Oct. 10 & Oct. 11–Rogers Little Theater

Whatever your take on the world of politics and news, expect an evening of fun from the 2008 Northwest Arkansas Gridiron Show. With sketches, songs, and spoofs written, directed, and performed by the local Society of Professional Journalists, the Gridiron Show is a chance to laugh with newsmakers, many of whom may be in the audience. Proceeds benefit SPJ projects, American Association of University Women scholarships, and the Rogers Little Theater.

Admission: $25. Rogers Little Theater (Victory Theater), 116 S. Second St., Rogers.
October 10 & 11. Doors open at 7 p.m. for general seating. Show begins at 8 p.m.

Alzheimer’s Association New Year’s Eve event

PWN’s very own Meredith Milam is working with the Alzheimer’s Association on their huge New Year’s Eve event, with dinner, dancing, silent and live auction.  Meredith is collecting donations for the silent auction.  The money generated benefits all Alzheimer’s Associations in Oklahoma and Arkansas. If you are interested in attending or donating an auction item, contact Meredith at 479-629-5747.

The October PWN meeting will be held October 7 at the DoubleTree in Bentonville.  Lunch is buffet-style, which gives us even more time for networking.  We begin at 11:30 and will have you back out the door by 1:00!
