The first annual PWN Christmas Party was a hit!  The Elks Lodge is a great place to hang out, and of course they had their cash bar open for us. Everyone enjoyed lots of finger foods, including rolls, cookies, and meatballs donated by Golden Corral, and ice cream cake samples donated by Coldstone Creamery.  And there were so many door prizes that everyone was a winner!

The evening included music by Black Dog DJ, surprise entertainment from the Meira Nawal belly-dance troupe, dancing, and karaoke.  We promise that no one was or will ever be forced to sing karaoke at a PWN party, but some of us aren’t sure we’ll let our husbands near a microphone ever again.

We’re already looking forward to meeting more spouses and having an even bigger turnout for the 2009 party!

And we hope you’ll forgive the webmaster for taking so long to post this.  She has been neglecting the blog lately; there is something quite distracting about a brand new baby.  :)
